ALUPROF SPURS CONVERSATIONS ABOUT THE FUTURE AS ANOTHER FUTURE BUILDERS CONFERENCE IS HELD IN WARSAW!

The latest in a series of conversations about the future initiated last year by ALUPROF could be very briefly summarized as eleven panelists, two discussion panels and five hundred representatives of the architectural and construction industry.

Two questions which are currently the focus of much thought in the architectural world are:

How is the New European Bauhaus going to take shape?

and

What should cities and towns transformed for the twenty-first century be like?

Answers were provided by Agnieszka Kalinowska-Sołtys, Alicja Kuczera, Ewa Kuryłowicz, Neil Pennell, João Rodrigues, Robert Schmitz, Bogdan Zaha, Mirosław Czarnik, Jacek Ewý, Tomasz Konior and Dawid Cycoń.

On September 8, 2022, at the Double Tree by Hilton hotel in Warsaw, the awards ceremony for the fourth Building of the year Created with ALUPROF Systems was preceded by the company’s latest international Future Builders conference. During the event, prominent architects from Poland and around the world discussed current trends and the future of architecture, design, sustainable construction, and modern cities. An exchange of experience and opinions at the highest level was guaranteed by renowned names from the architectural sector and construction industry.

  • During a discussion entitled Transforming cities and towns for the twenty-first century, the international group of panelists spun a gripping vision of what the cities of the future could be like.
  • Another crucial social topic, sustainable building, was addressed in a second discussion, The New European Bauhaus, an initiative intended to emphasize the importance of an environmentally friendly circular economy. Here, panelists including Jacek Ewý and Ewa Kuryłowicz talked about the initiative from the architectural viewpoint.
  • The program also included Zbigniew Maćków, who presented an analysis of his design for Green2Day, the state-of-the-art office building in Wrocław which won the third Building of the Year Created with ALUPROF Systems competition. This gave the audience a behind-the-scenes insight into how modern commercial building designs are created.
  • The conference was rounded off by Michal Marcinkowski of ALUPROF, with a presentation highlighting the changes taking place in construction and pointing up the essence of cutting-edge solutions and their impact on urban spaces and architectural progress.

The event partners were Press Glass, IGP, ML System, GEZE and BMW Sikora.
