ALUPROF System Czech held the official opening of a new showroom in Prague at the end of June 2022. It is an inspirational space for architects, designers, manufacturers and homeowners alike, where they can enjoy the support provided by experienced consultants and choose the solutions best suited to their particular requirements.

Not by chance was a restored office building in the thriving business district of Brumlovka chosen as the location for the showroom. Since the late nineteen nineties, the site has been undergoing regeneration carried out by a single developer, the Passerinvest Group, in the spirit of high-quality urban design and long-term sustainability. This fits perfectly with ALUPROF’s core mission, which is to promote the concept of sustainable development in the construction industry. In line with this and its motto, Let’s Build a Better Future, the company is implementing a corporate social responsibility programme which includes reducing its carbon footprint.

Visitors to the Prague showroom will see a full range of sustainable structures on display over nearly 180 square metres of floor space. They include windows and doors produced using the company’s MB-86 and MB-104 PASSIVE systems, which were developed primarily for energy-efficient and passive buildings. The MB-SKYLINE frameless, panoramic sliding door is showcased there, along with the MB-77HS lift and slide door, the MB-86 FOLD LINE bifold door and a wide range of façade solutions. ALUPROF’s state-of-the-art sun protection products can also be put to the test in the showroom. They include external venetian blinds and roller blinds and they make a major contribution to maintaining a building’s proper energy balance and thermal comfort. Among the other noteworthy products are the company’s fire- and smoke-resistant systems, which feature meticulously designed technology that enables the rapid and safe evacuation of a building. They include products with fire ratings of up to EI120, smoke integrity products and smoke and heat vents. The showroom gives visitors an opportunity not only to familiarise themselves with ALUPROF’s comprehensive range of products, but also to talk to the company’s technical and commercial advisors about all the solutions on offer and the company’s recently premiered innovations.

The opening of the showroom in Prague marks the next stage in the development of the ALUPROF brand on international markets. Its innovative solutions feature environmental values expressed through BREEAM, LEED, DGNB and WELL green building certification and the company is driving forward with its aim to see them used in the most prestigious projects not only in the Czech Republic, but all over the world.
