Our projects

MB-60E EI enables the fabrication of fire-resistant internal single or double leaf doors. The system also enables the fabrication of “technical windows” and fire resisting partitions. MB-60E EI-based constructions are classified as EI15 or EI30 to PN-EN 13501-2+A1:2010 and self-locking in class C5 according to EN 1191:2013-06. The system is classified as non-fire spreading (NRO).

This system is based on aluminium profiles with thermal break from the MB-60E system, with a structural depth of profiles of 60 mm. The fire resistance of the construction is maintained by the addition of fire insulation components that are mounted in the internal chambers of the system profiles. In addition to this, units are supplied with intumescent tapes, which stop the fire from spreading around the glazed unit.

The system is capable of carrying all common fire-resisting glass being classified as EI15 and EI30, in a thickness from 5 to 41 mm. MB-60 E EI glass is fastened on the inner face using stainless steel glazing strips. These special steel elements are an important detail in securing the glass to resist glass fall out during a fire.

MB-60E EI enables the fabrication of doors of up to 2, 475 mm and widths up to 1,400 mm. Double leaf door can be up to 2,580 m wide. Design capabilities and compatibility with other MB systems makes this solution a very attractive proposition to ensure systems closely match when installed closely together.
