ALUPROF’S MB-118EI PARTITION WALLS SYSTEM RECEIVES A EUROPEAN TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT
The European Technical Assessment (ETA) is a reference document for drawing up a Declaration of Performance and CE mark for the product it concerns. In accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011, the CE mark is the only marking of a construction product’s conformity with its declared performance as far as its fundamental characteristics, which are covered by the European Technical Assessment, are concerned.
ALUPROF’s MB-118EI system is used to create fire partitions with an EI120 fire rating. It is based on five-cavity, thermally insulated, aluminium profiles with a structural depth of 118 millimetres. The inner cavities and the insulating space between them are filled with elements providing insulation against fire. The symmetrical composition means that structures produced using the system retain a fire resistance of EI 120 when exposed to both external and internal fire.
