ALUPROF WINS TWO CIJ POLAND 2019 AWARDS

The prestigious CIJ Poland Awards are a commercial property sector event. This year was the eighteenth edition and the gala dinner and awards ceremony was held on 6th November at the Raffles Europeksji Warsaw Hotel. ALUPROF S.A. was a dual winner, receiving the award in both the Green Technology Solutions and the Innovation of the Year categories.

The jury was impressed by the ALUPROF MB-SE80 MLT façade system, which is extremely durable and features excellent technical parameters, while still affording the possibility of achieving highly aesthetic elevations. The system was developed and implemented in response to the requirements for the Mennica Legacy Tower in Warsaw. The awards were collected on ALUPROF’s behalf by the company’s Architect General, Elżbieta Dziubak. As she emphasises:

The competition has been one of the most important dates on the property sector calendar for almost two decades now and we’re honoured to receive a double distinction in an event of such stature. We’re proud to have won in two categories, Innovation of the Year and the Best Green Technology Solution. This is a distinction that confirms our position as sector leader in the production of innovative architectural aluminium systems. For years now, our aim has been the constant development of technologies which enable us to deliver state-of-the-art solutions that are shaped to our clients’ requirements and serve not only the users of the buildings they feature in, but also the natural environment. We’re delighted that our daily commitment to developing our brand’s portfolio was perceived and appreciated by the jury of the competition.

As the winner of two CIJ Poland Awards, ALUPROF also received a nomination for the CIJ Best of the Best HOF Awards, which places it in a group of award holders representing the most important property sector companies from ten central and south-eastern European countries. The CIJ Best of the Best HOF Awards gala will be held on 2nd April 2020 in Prague.

Eighteen Consecutive Years

This year’s edition of the competition was the eighteenth and it saw more than one hundred and thirty nominations submitted for the awards. They related not only to the most interesting development projects and the teams responsible for them, but also to the most innovative concepts and solutions. The statuettes were presented in six main categories; Development & Developer, Teams & Leaders, Services, Leases & Transactions, Materials and Creative Spirit. There were two rounds of voting, which identified thirty-three winners. Experts from the property, development, architecture and construction sectors participated in the first round. The second round took place via an online platform, where more than three thousand, six hundred people with specific experience in the property sector cast their vote.

The CIJ Awards gala is an event which has won wide recognition and prestige on both the Polish and the European commercial property market. For the sector’s leading companies, the ones creating and accomplishing state-of-the-art projects and inspiring new ways of looking at the Polish property market, it is also an occasion to meet up.
